if a female child is born, then it means that an X chromosome fused an another X chromosome.
  • then, does it mean that the rest chromosomes are dead ?
there are two pairs of chromosome in female and male.out of these chromosomes one chromosome fuses with another chromosome which gives birth to one baby, either boy or a girl
  • but, parents have more that one child.how is it possible ?
  • andduring mensuration,is that chromosomes are produced again ?

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

A zygote is formed when egg fuses with sperm. Now, both egg and sperm are haploid cells, i.e. they have one set of chromosomes (22 +X in females and 22 + X/Y in males). So, only one set of chromosomes from male and female fuses to form a diploid zygote. So chromosomes are not dead.
Chromosomes are present in every cell found in humans.
