if a new habitat is just being colonised, out of the 4 factors affecting the population growth which factor contributes maximum?

Dear Student, The factors which mainly contributes in the population growth include birth date, death rate, immigration and emigration. 1. Birth rate is the total number of live births per 1000 of a population in a year. 2. Death rate is the number deaths per 1000 of a population in a year. 3. Immigration, it means migration(movement) to a country of which you are not a native in order to settle there. 4. Emigration, it means migration(movement) from your native country in order to settle there. So out if these factors, immigration contributes maximum in the fluctuations of population rate, it is due to the fact that immigrations forms a continuous source of adding of more number of individuals contanstly. As people travel in order to get employment, food, shelter, breeding etc. (You can add more to this). Regards
