The given equation of line is,3x + 4y + 5 + kx+2y-3 = 0⇒3+kx + 4+2ky + 5-3k = 0Since, the above line is parallel to x-axis, thencoeffcient of x will be 0
So, 3 + k = 0⇒k = -3
