If all the energy in the universe is constant ,then why are we facing energy crisis?

The law of conservation of energy refers to something completely different than the energy that you worry about. Energy crisis regards to something called fossil fuels that include coal, oil, and natural gas. These fuels are constantly used by the human beings for power, electricity, automobiles, rocket, ships, etc. The time required by our Earth to form these fossil fuels is in a large amount which is much slower as compared to their uses by us. That is why we are having an ‘energy crisis’. 

The energy that are conserved like kinetic energy, potential energy, mechanical energy etc are of no use for us.
