if half life of a radioactive is T, then the fraction that would remain after a time T/2 is

Dear Student,

half life =0.693λT=0.693λ λ=0.693T we got the decay constant interms of TN=Noe-λt  now time is T/2 put the values N=Noe-0.693T×T2  N=No0.7070.7070of intial value will left after T/2  timeRegards

since half lyf means 50% of the given sample is left...den i guess after half of half lyf that is T/2 25% of the original sample will be left
i ain't sure
just a guess
if u get d ryt answer..plz lemme know

t is half life .So 0.693/k=t and k=0.693/t.And for first order reaction t=2.303/k*log(a/a-x).put the value of k as 0.693/t and the value for time as t/2 and get the answer
