If initial velocity of an object is 2 m /s. It reads, after 5 minute, 7 m/s (Considering no change in direction). What will be Average Acceleration ? Find out distance (displacement) covered by an object.

We know that

$$\begin{gathered} v = u + at \\ =>\hspace{0.17em}7 = 2 + a \left(300\right) [5 minutes = 300 seconds] \\ =>\hspace{0.17em}300 a = 5 \\ => a = \frac{5}{300} \\ => a = 0.0167 m/ s^2 \\ Now \\ s = ut + \frac{1}{2} a{t}^2 \\ =>\hspace{0.17em}s = 2 \left(300\right) + \frac{1}{2} (0.0167) {\left(300\right)}^2=>\hspace{0.17em}s = 600 + 7.515 \\ =>\hspace{0.17em}s = 607.515 m \end{gathered}$$
