If L={1,2,3,4} , M={ 3,4,5,6} & N={1,3,5} then find (L-M) U(L-N)
Dear student,
Given that, L= {1, 2, 3, 4} , M={3, 4, 5, 6} and N = {1, 3, 5}
We know,
Given that, L= {1, 2, 3, 4} , M={3, 4, 5, 6} and N = {1, 3, 5}
We know,
L - M = {1, 2, 3, 4} - {3, 4, 5, 6} = {1, 2}
L - N = {1, 2, 3, 4} - {1, 3, 5} = {2, 4}.
So (L - M) ⋃ (L - N) = {1, 2} ⋃ {2, 4} = { 1, 2, 4}
Hence, {1, 2, 4} is the required set.
Regards.
