If mean of4,6,8,10,x,14,16 is 10 then find the value of 'x'.

Mean is sum of all observation divided total no. of observation.
sum of the observation = 4+6+8+10+x+14+16=58+x
total no. of observation is 7
Then mean = 58+x/7=10
                      58+x=70
                           x=12
