If nothing is mentioned, Drawings is assumed to be against capital or against profit?

Dear Student
As drawings are done by the partners i.e. when they need money they can withdraw it from the business. And whatever a firm earn a profit or loss, interest on drawing is always an income for the business. If nothing is mentioned drawing is assumed to be against profit. As when it is against capital it will reduce capital amount.
