if [ ] stands for integral part of x and f(x) has domian [-3/2 , 3] , then domian of f( [|x|] ) is
Dear student,
When we do mod of x in between any function . Ex- f(|x|) then graph becomes symmetrical about y axis and the domain of function becomes of same length in both sides of origin. i. e. If function had domain of (-1,3) before |x| then after taking |x| domain will become (-3,3) symmetrical about y-axis.
The greatest integer function does nor effect on domain because it only effect on range.
The answer of your given answer is domain of f ([|x|]) is [-3,3].
