if the angles of triangle are 30 nd 45 and the included side is (root 3+ 1) thne what is the area of triangle?

The angles are given as 45 degree and 30 degree and included side of length (root 3+ 1) unit so we can draw figure as shown below,

Lets draw a perpendicular AD on BC now
BC = 3+1 unit
lets BD = x unit so CD = 3+1-x  unit
In right angle triangle ABD  ,
tanθ = ADBDtan 30 = ADx13=ADx x= AD3 ......(1)
Now taking right angle triangle ADC ,
tan45 = AD3+1-x1 = AD3+1-xAD = 3+1-x....(2) Now putting value of x from equation (1) we get, AD = 3+1 - 3AD AD + 3AD = 3+1 AD(3+1 ) = 3+1 So AD = 1 unit Now Area of triangle ABC = 12 ×base×height =12 ×(3+1)×1=(3+1)2unit square
