If the object has 4kg mass and velocity of 20 metres per second and the force applied is zero then the asnwer will be zero
So what does the zero means?
Please elaborate

Dear Student,

As we can see from the expression of force, it is directly propertional to the mass and acceleration. Here the mass is 4 kg, and the velocity is given as 20m/s. So, in this case the force can be zero only when the body is continuously moving with constant velocity, that is, it is moving with 20m/s (zero acceleration); hence force is zero.

That 'zero' means that the force applied on it is null and the object's velocity is constant.
