If there is nitrogen more than oxygen and carbon dioxide less than both so how can we say that the air is completely balanced properly as we and plants both don't take in or give out nitrogen?????

Pls explain
Kratika

Dear student,

plants, humans use carbondioxide and oxygen which make the living possible.
However the nitrogen present in atmosphere cannot be directly utilised and it converted into nitrate form by nitrogen fixing bacteria which is utilised by the plants and  eaten by the animals , when the animal dies they decompose and denitrifying bacteria converts nitrates into nitrogen which is liberated into the atmosphere.

Same like oxygen and carbondioxide there is a cycle which maintains normal percentage of nitrogen in air which called as NITROGEN CYCLE.
