As your question is not seems to be clear where you have written "cuboid is developed square is it true"i am solving this question as to find out the TSA of cubes after joining
Given cube of side x when two cubes were joined then length become double 2xSo , TSA =2lb+bh+lh​          =22x×x+x×x+2x×x       =22x2+x2+2x2        =25x2         =10x2So , the total surface area of resulting cuboid is 10x2
