And we know distance formula   = $\sqrt{{\left(x_2 - x_1\right)}^2 + {\left(y_2 - y_1\right)}^2}$ 
So,

AB  = $\sqrt{{\left(-1 -\left(-1\right)\right)}^2 + {\left(1 - 0\right)}^2}$    = $\sqrt{{\left(-1 + 1\right)}^2 + {\left(1 \right)}^2}$   =   1   unit 

BC  = ​$\sqrt{{\left(0 -\left(-1\right)\right)}^2 + {\left(1 - 1\right)}^2}$     ​= $\sqrt{{\left(1 \right)}^2 + {\left(0 \right)}^2}$   =   1   unit 

CD  = ​$\sqrt{{\left(0 -0 \right)}^2 + {\left(0- 1\right)}^2}$     ​= $\sqrt{{\left(0 \right)}^2 + {\left(1 \right)}^2}$   =   1   unit 

DA  = ​$\sqrt{{\left(-1-0\right)}^2 + {\left(0 - 0\right)}^2}$     ​= $\sqrt{{\left(-1 \right)}^2 + {\left(0 \right)}^2}$   =   1   unit 

Here  we can see that 

AB  =  BC   = CD  = DA  =  1 unit 

And we know that x and y axis form 90$°$ to each other , So all internal angles will be 90$°$  .
