If wheat is sown in the kharif season, what would happen? Discuss.

Dear student
Wheat is grown in rabi season that is winter season as it requires cool conditions to grow during it's initial stage.Growing it during kharif or summer season would kill the seedling as it would rot from the heat as well as by the pests present during that time. It is unable to adapt to such heat during it's initial stages. Also it requires less water for its growth but too much water from rain during kharif season can also result in the destruction of crop.
Hope this helps!

If wheat is sown in kharif season (from June to October), then the whole crop might get destroyed because of many factors such as lack of optimum temperature, adaptability, availability of pests, etc. Kharif season includes the rainy season which is not favourable for the growth of wheat crop.

If wheat is sown in kharif season the crops will be destroyed by excessive rain as kharif is rainy season. Wheres wheat is grown in rabi season ( winter season ).
