If x is not equal to y ,then (x,y) is not equal to (y,x),But if x is equal to y,then .......?
This was a question in MCQ in my SA-1.I wrote (x,y) = (-y,-x)
Pls help!.....With explanation.
Hi smirthy,
- When x is equal to y (x,y) will be equal to (y,x)
- However it is not equal to (-y,-x)
- I will show you one example
x = 2
y = 2
(2,2) = (2,2)
(2,2) Is not equal to (-2,-2) since it will be lying in third quadrant.
Hope this helps!!
