III. Story Writing: Complete the story in words which begin as the following:
Two friends were walking back home through a forest. It was quite dark. They could
hardly see their way. Suddenly they saw a pair of bright eyes shining in the
dark. ........................

Dear Student,
 Later they heard some animal screaming in pain. At first, they thought they should not bother, but then they decided to go and check whether an animal was hurt and it needed help. When they neared the pond they saw a deer lying on the grass and screaming. By now the sound had become quite less as it was tired. As they went near they could see that the deer's leg was caught in a trap and it was bleeding. Both of them knelt near the deer and gently freed its leg from the trap. The deer quickly sprang up and giving them a grateful look ran in the forest. Satisfied that they had done a good deed, both of them turned and went on to cross the forest and reach their friend.
