Imaginary dialogue between Sue and Johnsy, when they realise about what the behrman had done for Johnsy

Dear student,

Such questions are made for enhancing the self creative skills and should be tried
answering on your own. However, here are a few points that will help you in framing
your answer:
  • Johnsy: I am very happy that I am with you. You saved my life. Thank you.
  • Sue: Oh! you are welcome. I am happy that you are alive and recovering. I thank Mr. Behrman for his help. Many people were dying due to pneumonia.
  • Jhonsy: What is the role of Mr. Behrman? How did he help?
  • Sue: Well you had started to believe that you would die the moment the last leaf of ivy would fall. Mr. Behrman gave you hope by painting an ivy leaf on the climber. Seeing it you were hopeful that you would recover and you tried your best.
  • Johnsy: Oh! in that case I should thank Mr. Behrman.
  • Sue: Unfortunately, he died of pneumonia the next morning.
  • Johnsy: I would always remember him. May God bless his soul.
