My birthday gift from my parents was the best gift I had ever had . It filled me with surprise and wonder . I never expected to get such a present . The present was big and there were small holes in the box too . Curious of what it was , I opened the box . Suddenly , a cute little puppy jumped out of the box . I almost fell down with surprise . The dog started licking me . Then I noticed it was a cute little labrador puppy . Later I realised that the small holes in the box were for the puppy to breathe and not suffocate . When I saw the puppy , I felt like thr happiest person on earth . I ran to my parents and kissed them . My parents becamse really happy , and obviousy I was really happy too . From then onwards , the labrador puppy became my best friend . I started realising why dogs were called loyal animals to humans . Whenever I come home from school . The puppy runs to me and starts licking me . Having a dog can be great fun . I always play with it . It likes me scratching the behind of it's ears . It was extremely cute .I also take the puppy for walks . It has so many friends . My neighbour also has a puppy . I send the labrador puppy to the neighbour's house . It's funny to watch how both the puppies play and have fun . Feeding the dog and exercising the dog was a great task that lay ahead of me . But soon that task became a routine to me . It is real fun having a pet to play with , and have fun with . It never makes ypu feel lonely . I enjoyed each day I had with him .
