In a joint project by the CBSE and WWF-India, bringing a ‘unique opportunity for students to delve deeper into India’s amazing wildlife’, is going to organize a wildlife quiz competition. The “Wild Wisdom Quiz” ‘aims to instill a sense of concern for the natural world and inspire our students to imbibe concern for conservation. The quiz has been recognized by CBSE as a CCE activity.’

The quiz will be conducted in three categories for students from classes 3 to 12. The Primary and Middle levels (for students of classes 3 to 8), the quiz will be conducted offline in 13 cities, whereas the Senior Level (classes 9 to 12) will participate in the online mode throughout India. The National Final event will take place in the Capital on 6 October, 2016.

The theme for the 2016 Wild Wisdom Quiz is ‘Evolution and Biodiversity’. In acircular issued by the Board, the last date for registrations is 31 July, 2016. Students may register by paying a one-time registration fee of Rs. 100. Each participant will receive a participation certificate and a Wild Wisdom wristband. Top 3 National Level winners will get an amazing opportunity to visit a national park.
