According to Hardy Weinsberg equation
p2+q2=1
Frequency of attached earlobes, q2 = 0.09, q= 0.03
Frequency of the dominant (unattached earlobe) allele: 1- 0.03 = 0.97
Percentage of the population that are heterozygous for the earlobe allele: 2pq or 0.05
