In an electromagnetic wave propagating along X direction, the magnetic field oscillates at a frequency of 3*10^10 Hz and has an amplitute of 10^-7 Tesla acting along the Y-axis.

(i) Find the wavelength of the wave.

(ii) Write the expression for expressing the corresponding oscillating electric field.

Dear Student,

(i) frequency (f) = 3* 10^10Hz
    speed of light = frequency*wavelength
    wavelength  = speed of light / frequency
                        = 3*10^8/3*10^10
                       =1/100 = 0.01m
   Wavelength = 0.01m.
(ii) c = E/B
     E=cB
   E=3*10^8*10^-7
     =3*10
      =30N/C.
