in ascidia, is notochord present in adult also

The ascidia belongs to the phylum Chordata and sub-phyllum Urochordata.  In Urochordata the notochord is present only in larval tail and not in the adult organism. So in ascidia notochord is present only in larval stage not in adult organism.
