In certain seasons we sweat profusely while in some other season we shiver. Explain.

Dear student,
Our body maintains a constant body temperature. Our body temperature is 37 degree Celsius. In summer outside temperature is greater than our body temperature therefore our body sweats to cool down down and maintains the body temperature. In winter outside temperature is lower than our body temperature therefore we shiver to produce heat and contract our muscles to maintain our body temperature. The homeostasis of our body regulates our body temperature.
