In chapter ATOMS AND MOLECULES (MCQ test 4, question number 10) i m facing problem because in that question i m not understanding that why atoms are multiplied with molecules...........please help me facing a lot of problem in mole concept and i request dont send me any kind of link regarding this question because i need proper answer. :-)

Given mass of galactose = 0.8 g

Molecular mass of galactose (C6H12O6) = (6 x 12 + 12 x 1 + 6 x 16 ) = 180 g mol-1
No of moles (n) = given mass in gmol.mass                        = 0.8180 = 0.0044 molesn = Number of moleculesAvagadro number Number of molecules = No. of moles × Avogadro number                               = 0.0044 × 6.023 × 1023                               = 0.0267 × 1023                               = 2.67 × 1021
