In Family Fabaceae its written that the calyx has imbricate aestivation , then why does the diagram show the corolla having valvate aestivation?
In Family Fabaceae does the corolla have valvate or imbricate aestivation ?
The same mistake is given in the NCERT text also ( Refer Page 79 )...

Family Fabaceae is a very big family having large number of sub families. So both the aestivation are found.Some families have corolla with valvate & some with imbricate aestivation. We can't say that text in N.C.E.R.T is incorrect. However we will mention both the aestivation in our study material.
