In Faraday's experiment, galvanometer shows no deflection when a magnet is not in motion relative to the coil.GIVE REASON

There is no deflection in the galvanometer when magnet is at rest in relation to coil (conductor). This is because ​the current induced or the delection in galvanometer is dependent upon the flux through the coil. When the magnet is at rest, there is no flux change and hence, there is deflection.
