In how many ways can be letter of the word MULTIPLE be arranged without changing the order of the vowels in the word

If the vowels are not to be arranged  the answer will be 8!/3! 3 factorial is due to vowels. aliterly we can assume all vowels to be identical so we not have to arrange them.

Since the order of vowels is to be remained same that means choose any three places from the eight places and fix UIE there that is 8C3 remaining 5 digits can be arranged as 5!/2! (L is there 2 times). So the answer will be 8C3* 5! /2! = 3360
