In NCERT, it is written that environmental movement and women's movement are examples of generic movement.

But these are the movements that concern about only a specific issue. So shouldn't they be included in issue specific movements ?

No they can not be issue specific because these Movements  have more that one issue and a long drawn without any central organisations etc.If we discuss about the environment as generic movement they it has more then one issue like curbing deforestation,stopping dam construction in habitable zones,lowering global warming etc.
