 The above circuit is a classical example of wheatstones bridge and thus the current flowing through the resistance in the middle will be 0.

Now, 

the above can be simplified in two steps as under:


 
and finally since the above two resistors are in series with each other and so are the ones below with each other. But then after the combination the two of them are in parallel as shown under: 



Now, 
ReqR1×R2R1+R2 = 40040 = 10Ω

The above circuit can be simplified as 

Note that 20Ω can be omitted as R1 × R2 = R3 × R4

The two 10 ​Ω resistors on top and bottom are in series. 
Rs = 10+10 = 20 ​Ω 
Now the circuit is simplified to this:
