Parellelogram DEFH ane Parellelogram DEGA are on the same base DE and between the same parellels DE// AF, so they are equal in area.

Area of DEFH= Area of DEGA ........ 1
Parellelogram ABCD and Parellelogram DEGA are on the same base AD and between same parellels AD//BE, so they are equal in area.

Area of ABCD= Area of DEGA ........2

Hence Proved.
