in the food chain,

Grass ==> Deer ==> Lion

operating in a forest wgat will happen,

(i) if all lions are removed

(ii) if all deer are removed

(iii) if all ngrass is removed

In the above mentioned food chain- grass as producers- it prepares it own food, Deers are primary consumers- obtain energy from grass & lions are secondary consumers.

(i) If all lions are removed ,then number of deers will increase which would result in overgrazing of grass.

(ii) If all deers are removed, lions will die due to starvation & huge area of land will convert into grasslands.

(iii) If there is no grass there is no food chain. Deers will have nothing to eat,they die due to hunger. Same condition will happen with lions, NO DEERS TO EAT- NO SURVIVAL OF LIONS.

  2. if all deers r removed lions will live hungry n will come to cities or villages in search of food or they can die also due to lack of food.
  3. if all d grass is removed there will b a plenty of food for lions bcoz deers will die due to lack of grass or deers cn start eating leaves so there cn cause lack of oxygen due to vanishing of trees.

  1. in the 1st condition if all the lions are removed then the poppulation of deers will increase as there is no lion to eat them and the grass will be endangered as more the deers more they eat
  2. in the second condition if all deers were removed then the lions poppulation will fall drastically (in absence of any other predater for them) and they can come in nearby village
  3. if all the grass are removed then the deer will die of hunger and lions will increase.   hope i helped
