In the given figure, O is the centre of the circle with AC =24cm , AB= 7cm and angle BOD =90o.Find the area of the shaded region.

I m telling u the sum in short, please use long term of solving methods in exam
in triangle ABC, angle ABC will be equal to 900
therefore triangle ABC is a right angled triangle, with AC = 24cm, AB = 7cm
So, by pytho, BC = 25cm and CO = BO = 12.5cm
area of triangle ABC = 1/2 X b X h = 1/2 X 24 X 7 = 84cm2
area of semicircle is = πr2 / 2 = 22/7 x 25/2 x 25/2 / 2 = 245.30 cm2 approx
nowm if COD is a quadrant , area of quadrant = area of semicircle / 2 = 245.30/2 = 122.65
area of shaded region = area of circle - area of triangle - area of quadrant
                                  = 490.62 - 84 - 122.65
                                  = 284cm2 approx
