In the lesson it is mentioned that the Veins carry the deoxygenated blood to the heart.
Deoxygenated blood collected by the vein pick up oxygen in the lungs and the carbon dioxide is removed from it when we exhale( breathe out ). Further, the oxygenated blood is carried back to the heart where it is pumped again to all parts of the body through arteries.
So, the oxygenated blood only is carried back to the heart from the lungs instead of the deoxygenated blood as it is mentioned in the lesson.
Is it correct or not?
During contraction of ventricles, the deoxygenated blood from right ventricle flows to the lungs through pulmonary artery and the oxygenated blood from left ventricle is distributed to all the parts of the body through the largest artery – the aorta.
