In the poem Fire and Ice , what do people think about the ending of the world ? What does the poet think ? Answer in 30 - 40 words

Dear Student,
The poet's assumption about the world's end is expressed in this poem. He is unsure of how the world will come to an end; by ice or by fire. Fire signifies the desires and yearnings of the physical bodies while ice is the hatred among people. However, it will definitely be destructed by any of these two, he assumes.
The poet thinks that people with hatred will ultimately be the reason of destruction of the world as their ego will lead them to do so.
