In western schools, most dress codes are against females as they  are seen as "a distraction" to their male  fellow classmates. This is just bluntly using women as sexual objects. Girls (and boys) should be obliged to wear whatever they feel as long as its not going against any law.
Are these dress codes justified in any way?

Dear student,

Such questions are meant to test your writing skills and should be attempted on your own. However, these points might help you elaborate:
  • School uniforms dismantle the class divide created by cheap or expensive clothes as a result of low or high income.
  • It is easy to judge a person by what he wears. So, uniform corrects that error and gives us an opportunity to make friends with anyone in the school.
  • Also, uniform creates an atmosphere of discipline in the school and in the student.
  • However, it shouldn't be made a symbol of gender division.
  • The dress code or the uniform should be set keeping in mind the comfort, convenience and freedom of both the genders.
  • A person's way of dressing should not be seen as a means of distraction.
  • Limiting a particular gender's rights by putting them in a set of clothes which may not be comfortable enough is wrong.
