India is the fourth largest producer of medicines in the world and is also a large exporter of medicines . but nearly 67% of the population in India does not have access to essential medicines . explain why in detail ?

The availability of medicines in India is undermined by several factors :    

1)Poor medicine supply and distribution systems;
2)Insufficient health facilities and staff; and
3)Low investment in health, and
4)High cost of medicines
