insects do internal or external fertilization?

Internal fertilization takes place in insects. The male release the sperms enclosed in spermatophore into female reproductive organ with the help of some copulatory organ. These spermatophores release sperms, when matured into the female oviduct where they fertilize the eggs ejected from the ovary.
