Is 12789 is divisible by 6

For a number to be divisible by 6, it has to be divisible by both 2 and 3.

12789 is not divisible by 2 because it does not have an even number in it's unit's place.

12789 is divisible by 3 because sum of digits= 1+2+7+8+9= 27 which is divisible by 3. So, 12789 is divisible by 3.

But, 12789 is divisible by 3 and not by 2; that is why it is not divisible by 6.
