Is Bacillus radicicola an accepted name for Rhizobium leguminosarum ?
If yes, isn't this violation of the rules of nomenclature?
and if only one name predominates is it Bacillus radicicola the one being given earlier by the Beijerick or Rhizobium leguminosarum named by Frank?

Dear Student,

The bacteria belonged to the rhizobium family that is famous for nodule formation in legumes and hence the name was revised many a times by technical reservations. Rhizobium leguminosarum  given by Frank is the accepted name for it. History of nomenclature has seen many revisions such as this, and all the parameters are considered in suggesting a name to a species, therefore it is not subjected to violation.
