Changes which occur and repeat themselves after a definite time interval are called Periodic Changes .
Change of festivals can be periodic as well as non periodic. Festivals like Christmas are periodic changes as they repeat at a definite interval of time but festivals like Diwali can be classified as non periodic as the date of this festival changes year to year.
