Is diabetis mellitus an autosomal dominant/recessive or sex linked disease??

Dear student
Diabetes mellitus, (DM) is an autosomal dominant disease. Sugar level in blood increases. Blood -sugar level is controlled by insulin, produced by pancreas. If the amount of insulin in blood falls, Patient suffers from DM.
The gene for diabetes shows incomplete penetrance i.e., the dominant gene does not expresses itself in all the individuals it is present.
