Is fever a disease ?
Dear student,
Fever is not a disease, usually a sign of an infection.Fever is a rise in normal temperature (370 C) of our body caused by the body's response to illness. Fever is caused by a breakdown in the body's temperature control actions. In fever, the blood vessels in the skin narrow. This prevents heat from leaving the body through the skin which causes rise in body temperature.
Regards.
