is glycerol based phospholipid the same as phosphate based glycerolipid ???

Dear student

Please refer the solution below for the said query

No, they are different compounds.

The proper compounds is â€‹glycerol-based phospholipids. They are the main components of plasma membrane. Here two fatty acids and a phosphoric acid are attached as esters to glycerol.

Glycerolipids are formed by joining fatty acids to glycerol by ester bonds.

Hope this information clears your doubt about the topic.
