Is hepatocytes another name for hepato lobules??
Or both are different??

Dear student,

Hepatocytes and hepato lobules are not the same.

Liver cells are called as hepatocytes.

A histological unit of the liver is called hepatic lobule. It is a hexagon containing liver cells arranged around a central vein which is the terminal branch of one of the hepatic veins. The hepatocytes or liver cells are radiating outwards.
