Is human liverfluke a trigenetic or digenetic parasite?

Liver fluke is a genus of digenetic trematodes. It presents in the bile ducts and gallbladder of herbivores. It infects domestic and wild animals and also transferred from pet and rearing animals to humans. It causes many problems such as anemia and emaciation etc.

Parasite living in a single host is termed as monogenetic and parasites living in or completing its life cycle with alternation of generation in two or three hosts are termed as digenetic or trigenetic.
