Is it possible that atoms change their kind after being in a chemical reaction
Can their properties or chemical composition change after a chemical reaction?
Dear student
Atoms when involved in chemical reaction mostly do not change its chemical property.
Although in some cases its property may change, When considering chemical property, a compound is taken into account, since atoms combine to form compound,
Example H2 + Cl2 gives 2HCl
Hydrogen gas has completely different properties than HCl.
Although, chemical composition of an atom can not change even after a chemical reaction since a chemical reaction involves either formation or breakage of bonds.
So, An atom either gains electrons or loses electron.
