Is NH3+__CH__COO  a zwitterion?

Dear Student

Zwitterions are molecules that have both positive and negative charged, non adjacent regions but are overall  neutral. They can behave as either negative or positive ion in different conditions. An example include amino acids which are overall neutral but have acidic (negative charge) carboxylic group at one end and basic (positive charge) amino group at the other.

Hence yes the given structure is a zwitter ion
