is there a  predecessor  of  0?

Hi!
Here is the answer to your query.

The predecessor of a number is 1 less than the given number. The predecessor of a number is obtained by subtracting 1 from the number.
If we consider the whole numbers, then 0 does not have a predecessor.
If we consider the integers, then the predecessor of 0 = 0 – 1 = –1.

Cheers!

 For whole numbers the predecessor of 0 is not possible .

But if we consider integers, the predecessor of 0 is -1 !!!

Hmmmmm...........if we see it in the view of integers than the predecessor of 0 is -1.......

  • 0

 if we consider integers then ans is -1

  • 0

if you  see 0 in a number line, its predeccessor is -1.

  • 0

if we consider the integer then the predecessor of 0 is -1

  • 0

 hmm..i do have-1

  • 0

predecessor = -1

than o does not have a predecessor

0= 0 - 1 = -1'

cheers

 If we take it in Integer than the predecessor is -1
